Introducing ourselves
When we signed the papers and began visiting the three hectares we had bought, we needed time to understand what that truly meant — and where to begin. We started with the first garden, returning it to the place where it once had been, when a family lived here fifty years ago. It felt like a gentle way of introducing ourselves to the land. Working there allowed us to spend time in the valley, observing the water, the sun, and the wind, while talking through our plans and slowly imagining what it might mean to make a home here.
