The Story of Waters on Our Land
In Koroška folklore, water is more than a natural feature. Streams and springs have always marked boundaries, carried warnings, and accompanied daily life. They were known not by names, but by their sounds and the feelings they evoked — the forest’s murmur, the cold rising from the ground, and the awareness that water demands respect. Mountain torrents signified caution and passage, teaching lessons about when to cross, when to slow down, and which limits to honor. Water in the past was seen as both movement and pathway, not something that could be controlled….

There is a drive and energy that this land continually supports, just looking around you see all kind of projects and doing them feeds you, just as finishing them does.
