A century ago people would get together with their neighbours, cut trees in the forest, shape the wood into timber and together build a wooden house next to that forest. The house would also be close to water and have a bedroom window facing east, so the first light of the sun could be the alarm clock. Life was modest, yet each window had colourful flowers and there would be a long table with simple benches outside for the big family to have lunch halfway the long working days.
