For All We Hold
Our initiative grew from discovering how the place we live in has changed over time — forests growing quieter and more uniform, waters moving faster, with less patience. It began not as a plan, but as a decision: not to stand aside while the conditions that hold life here continue to erode.
Grounded in land, water, and forests in Slovenia, Mirn Grabn is a small, deliberate place and practice of learning, attention, and action — working toward landscapes that can still hold nature and people together, and where living here can continue beyond us.
Through this work, we are developing a living watershed lab — combining restoration, biodiversity knowledge, and community participation to create a model for how similar landscapes can be cared for and governed in the future.
